64 percent of applicants to Oklahoma Baptist University were admitted for fall 2018

At Oklahoma Baptist University, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Shawnee enrolled 2,011 students in fall 2018, including 1,886 in undergraduate and 125 in graduate programs, data shows. 4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

62 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oklahoma, and 35 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (67 percent) and two or more races (14 percent).

The school admitted 64 percent of the 4,334 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 19 percent enrolled.
