The Fugitive Task Force, Night Shift Deputies, and Maud Police Department served a warrant in St.Louis on a Jacob Brauning, who had outstanding warrants out of Ponotoc and Pittsburg Counties. Brauning refused to exit the residence, hid in the attic, then attempted to flee on the roof, but was unsuccessful. Brauning was taken into custody and booked on his warrants and Obstruction. He is being held on a $2000.00 bond.
On a separate incident, Scott Yarbrough, of Shawnee, was also arrested by Deputy Neidel and Smith on a Felony Robbery warrant out of Lincoln County. He is being held in the Safety Center, where he will stay until Lincoln County extradites him.
All parties are innocent until proven guilty, this is an arrest, not a conviction.
