The Aggies women’s basketball team tipped off their 2023 season Thursday night as they faced Oklahoma City University. 

In the first period of the conference action, the Aggies would play back-and-forth action with the Stars. The Stars would get a lead up to 7 in the first period. Aggies would get within four points from two good free throws by Senior Tateum Jones and a nice jump shot from Junior Alonna Harvey-Williams. 

In the second period, the Aggies would get close, 1 point of taking the lead at the 7:08 mark and the 4:05 mark. Stars would push their lead up to 8 going into halftime. 

Coming out of halftime, the Stars would shoot past the Aggies, going on an 8-0 run.

Leading the way for the Aggies was Junior Jamiya Eaddy with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and a steal. 

Aggies’ next basketball Game will be on January 7th as they face John Brown University at home tip-off will be at 2:00 PM.
