East Central Oklahoma University Volleyball Picked Sixth in Preseason Poll

The Great American Conference announced Thursday the preseason poll for the upcoming 2022 Volleyball season. East Central University has been picked sixth out twelve.
 
The Tigers return 12 from the 2021 roster that finished 15-14 overall and 11-5 in GAC play. They return three All- GAC Second Team members, Sr. Alejandra Delgado, RSr. Thalianette Garcia and So. Emma Strickland. Delgado led the GAC with 2.89 digs per set having a total of 591 digs. Garcia tallied 30 service aces and 295 digs. Garcia and Strickland tied for the most kills for the Tigers with 292. Strickland also had nine service aces and 253 digs on the season.

East Central University Volleyball opens up the 2022 season August 26 at 2:00 p.m. on the road in San Angelo, Texas against Texas A&M University- Kingsville. The Tigers begin their home schedule in the Kerr Activities Center September 13 at 7:00 p.m. against top picked Oklahoma Baptist University.
