Amaya Martinez, a former star at Shawnee High School and now playing for the Adams State Grizzlies, is set to participate in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.

The team enters as the No. 5 seed and will face off against the fourth-seeded UCCS Mountain Lions.

The tournament opener is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena.
